The red ribbons period is essentially a long-standing and largest campaign on drug use prevention in the United States. Even though the beginning and the ending dates may slightly vary dependent on institutions, the Red Ribbon Week generally happens within the final whole week of October with an inclusion of the preceding and the final weekends of that last whole period as the precise celebration dates.
