It is comprised of 5 members including; John floreani is the lead vocalic, Jeremy Winchester is the standup vocalist and at the same time a bass. He left in November 2017 and not long after, his spot was taken by Blake Caruso who is a former member of the Sydney based band known as rumors. Like many bands, this one started in the basement of John Floreanis house.
In their time of existence, the band has been able to release two full-length albums and a good amount of single hits. The albums are mend, moving on and chemical wonder. Some of the singles include one extended play, everything goes away and tired hearts which was released in September of 2015. Just like every musician, they have gone they not only on tours known as the warped tours.
Apart from being on the warped tour in both 2015 and 2017, they have also been on an intercontinental tour. This means they have worked alongside bands in and from other countries such as neck-deep from Welsh, seaway from Canada and knuckle park from the united states of America. The most tour was based in the United Kingdom.
The song chlorine is about john floreani as a child. He lived in a town that was far from beaches or any water bodies. He learned how to swim when he was a little bit older than the age at which most children would learn. When he went to the pool he jumped into the deep end and began to drown. Another child dived into the pool to save him. The child, later on, suffered a bad break-up and hanged himself. The song chlorine is a kind of tribute to him.
John was really close with his grandmother and the song my name on paper, is based on all the memories he has of her. She suffered dementia in her old age which grew worse by the day. It got to a point where she could not recognize her husband, his grandfather, which wounded him deeply. He later passed on and followed soon after.
When a person is in love, they want nothing more than to be around the person they are in love with. The lyrics to breath you in, came as a result of John missing his girlfriend so much. He got drunk and walked around new castle. Thereafter, he sat down and wrote the lyrics to the song.
