Working Through Your Own Addictions

By John Wyatts

Addicts often feel addicted to drugs because they are trying to fight their own spiritual battles. When it comes to creating change, most addicts find that it's impossible to do. You can easily find out that an addict is someone that is hurting and carrying on a new dimension of trust. You can easily find out that we can look at our past and see truth behind what we all know. We can look at our life and feel a certain level of energy for growing and changing out ways. Look at your own life and try to understand what and who you are.

It is interesting to learn how Betty got caught up into a love triangle with him. Shockingly, her psychic told her that she was going to meet a guy in high school that would be good to her. The psychic said that there would be love at first sight. However, this didn't happen right away for Betty. Around two weeks after her psychic reading, Betty did meet this young man. He was charming, handsome and down to earth. The problem with her is that she was into his looks and not into his true self. She knew from the very beginning that he was a drug addict. She decided to date him anyways.

Eventually, she got into using heroin herself and was immediately attached to the drug. It was a hard drug to be attached to because it was highly addictive. It is important to look at life and feel a sense of connection to whatever it is that you are trying to overcome. Life is sometimes a challenge for most people to look at. When you look back at your life, it is important to feel as though you can overcome anything that you put your mind to. It is important to look at life and feel a sense of balance.

As Betty approached her 18th birthday, she knew that it was time to get help. She was reaching rock bottom and her family and friends were all worried about her. She decided to get herself into a rehab. Many rehabs had 12 step programs. She wanted more of a holistic program. She eventually did find one in Florida. Going to rehab was the best decision that she could have ever made for herself. It was a moment in her life that made complete sense. She had to relearn how to be a producing person in society. Her parents were behind her recovery 100%. Her mother and father paid a lot of money to get her the help that she needed.

Rehab was a time for Betty to look into her own heart and see that she was chasing a man that didn't truly love her. He was more in love with his drugs than with Betty. If you are wondering what happened to her boyfriend, I can tell you that it ended sadly. He never went to rehab and chose not to get sober. Betty eventually lost touch with him and later on remarried in her life. Sometimes, people just come and go in our lives for many different reasons.
